 Cordell Mansion was built in 1695 by Duke Harold Cordell. He had dreams of moving his large family into the remote village of Ithica for their own safety and to get away from city life. As soon as the mansion was built, he and his wife, mother and father, and five children moved in. Over the next twenty-five years the Cordell's not only adopted many children, but Duchess Cordell had nine more. Total, they had eight boys and six girls. The number of children they adopted and raised totaled thirty-three children living in the house at once. All of the children had their own rooms too. So, after the Cordell family name died away and the twenty-first century rolled around, the Cordell Mansion was a perfect place for young people around the world to call a haven. Rented out by it's current landlord, Mr. Rousseau, the mansion is filled with people from ages sixteen to thirty-five, all of whom have secrets to keep and a reason for running away to the small village of Ithica.
